assault weapon. They weren't trying to do crowd control, they were acting like vigilantes meting out vengeance against protesters who did not demonstrate the proper level of submission and respect.

Without teargas maybe they'll actually engage and try to deescalate the tension and hear what the protesters are saying. Well, that's not likely so things are likely going to get a whole lot worse for the marchers.

Like any immature brat, if their favorite toys are taken away they have a meltdown and launch a destructive temper tantrum to demonstrate their rage. The cops will use other so called nonlethal weapons, aimed and fired to cause the greatest injury or permanent disabilities.

against enemy soldiers in war. It should not be used on American citizens.
