Sixty percent of young Latinos support Biden: poll

Sixty percent of young Latinos between the ages of 18 and 34 plan to vote for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden in the upcoming general election, according to data from a national Telemundo-Buzzfeed News survey of Latino voters.

The poll also found that 60 percent of young Latinos surveyed believe the 2020 election is more important than the 2016 election, with the recent Black Lives Matter demonstrations and the coronavirus pandemic being the driving factors leading them to the polls.

More than 80 percent of young Latinos polled said the coronavirus pandemic has impacted them personally, with 43 percent saying they experienced financial hardship as a result of the health crisis. The poll also found that over 70 percent of Latino and Black young adults reported facing racial discrimination in some form in the past two years.

According to the survey, 55.8 percent of young Latino voters said they've participated in Black Lives Matter protests and 82 percent said the protests are motivating them to vote. More than 70 percent of young Latinos polled said that the coronavirus pandemic is also motivating them to vote, which is virtually the same among their non-Latino counterparts.

Political Cults are a sickness that demanded such a hell for America

May they all rot.

Latinos won't forget nor forgive what atrocities were done in Trump's name.

when I see it.

God how I hate that fucking monster. In a selfish fashion, I'm thankful every day I'll never be asked to put his life in my hands. It wouldn't go well for him, and then it wouldn't go well for me I'm afraid.

Biden's campaign if they don't take his advice in regards to Latino participation. Rocha kept hawking his book during the interview and plugged the "underfunded" Latino superpac he runs.

He reminded me so much of Michael Moore.

I saved a similar link from a month ago. It was 60 Biden and 19 for Trump. This may be the same sampling:

We definitely need young Hispanics above 60% for Biden because older Hispanics especially Cubans will tilt more toward Trump

when we were winning 70% of all Latinos with Obama.

(Edit: I misread the article and I was comparing two different things (60% of all young Latinos voting for Biden versus the percent of Latinos that voted for a Democrat among those that actually voted in previous elections. The key difference is that among the 40% that are not saying they plan to vote for Biden this year are presumably those who don't plan on voting or are undecided ).
