So Who are We to Believe: Romney or Ryan?

One of them is lying to the American people. On the one hand Romney claims, he is not running on the Ryan budget:

"He was going to use that money to reduce the budget deficit," Romney said. "I’m putting it back into the Medicare and I’m the guy running for president, not him."

Yet Ryan says the Ryan budget is the very reason he chose him as his running mate:

"[H]is very selection of me as his running mate, the guy with all the specifics, who's put out all these solutions on the table," Ryan said, "shows you very clearly Mitt Romney's not afraid of making big decisions, making tough decisions, putting specifics out there."
