Warren Ad: Scott Brown ‘Attacking My Family’ On Native American Claims

Elizabeth Warren fires back at Scott Brown's attack on her claims of Native American ancestry, in a new TV ad in the Massachusetts Senate race. Earlier Monday, the Brown campaign released an ad that questioned Warren's honesty, and whether she would have gotten any job based on the claim.

"As a kid, I never asked my mom for documentation when she talked about our Native American heritage. What kid would?" Warren says to the camera. "But I knew my father's family didn't like that she was part Cherokee and part Delaware — so my parents had to elope."

"Let me be clear, I never asked for, never got any benefit, because of my heritage. The people who hired me have all said they didn't even know about it. I'm Elizabeth Warren, I approve this message. Scott Brown can continue attacking my family — but I"m gonna keep fighting for yours."

and I'm betting the internal polls showed the people of Michigan did NOT like his attack on her heritage. This ad nails him on it in a really effective way!

14. Warren has to avoid falling into victimology, that is what Brown wants.

She did the tape perfectly. She said that the Brown douche-bag is attacking her mom's memory, then she pivoted to the statement that she would not let Brown attack the viewer's family. The last part of what Warren said alludes to many topics on which Brown is weak and has outright lied, and the statement causes a viewer to think about those things, not how Warren feels personally about Brown's crazy attack. BTW, sounds like Brown is being advised by southern republican advisers, the crap he is doing is one of the favorite tactics of southern republicans. That tactic won't work in Massachusetts and if Brown continues with it, Brown will lose big.

15. Add to that the Massachusetts public saw him at his worst during the debate...

when he repeatedly attacked her on her heritage. This ad, coming out after the debate and after Brown's ad attacking her again came out earlier today, reinforces that negative, ugly side of him, imo.
