1. I don't see how this helps Trump. "Trump" and "Russia" in the same sentence

and attacking the FBI.

The verbiage alone will be computed by a lot of people as a story that’s connects the two. I know they are dropping their law and order campaign but this is like THEY are attacking the cops.

5. Exactly - and explain that you do not "unmask" specific individuals -- ie they speak of everyone who

unmasked Michael Flynn. The intelligence reports mask (or redact the names) of any Americans. People with clearance and a "need to know" request that a person - unknown to them at that point - who is heard asking things of the foreign agent or giving information to the foreign agent be identified - ie unmasked.

So, NO ONE intentionally were targeting Michael Flynn or other Trump people. They were unmasked because of what they did or as you say very correctly they were concerned about the Russians interacting suspiciously with Americans -- and those Americans were Trump people.
