Nothing wrong with being a Blue Dog Democrat

Not every area is going to elect a Paul Wellstone or a Bernie Sanders or a Elizabeth Warren or a AOC.

You are going to see a Manchin, a Sinema, a Henry Cuellar in certain areas.

Cuellar, Manchin are pro-Social Security, etc.

Obama had to negotiate with Blue Dog Democrats to get stuff done from 2009-2015.

Blue Dogs forced Obama to settle on a watered-down stimulus and a watered-down healthcare plan – which played a large part in handing the House back to the Republicans in the next election.

As long as they vote with us when it matters they’re valuable members of the team.

I have heard the expression before but did not understand it and at the time was too embarrassed to ask.

Blue dogs, Blue Democratics screwed us the last time. Against President Obama who helped usher them in.
In fighting and gridlock with our own damn selves.
Now consulting with Republicans against Nancy Pelosi.
Praying that we gain enough seats that we can forge ahead and not alow them to sabotage our efforts again.
Voters are literally risking their lives to get the orange one out. I will hate for their efforts to only be squandered by these Blue Democrats for the sake of their self preservation.
