(6,862 posts)Did/does Barr understand that Trump is egoist? Will Trump's egoism trump Barr's fascism? Will Barr notice? Trump doesn't care, at all. How much does Barr care? Enough to buck Trump when egoism thwarts fascism? Answer: Probably not but it doesn't matter.
Instead, ask Putin. He knows. Putin manipulates the bankrolls of both the America's (and Britain's) egoism and the fascism. His goal? Destroy the "city on the hill", which is (unbeknownst to most) the property of the American masses, children of immigrants and beholden to none but native Americans. I call it, "cold war revengism", or "'stick it up your rears-ki Mr. Reagan, you, 'tear down that wall-ins-ki', mouthpiece of imperialist pigs". I paraphrase that which is rarely spoken (in English). Probably very common in Russian. But it's still plainly so.
Who of my generation could have seen that our demise was clearly written on our the price tags of our consumables? Only every hippie ever asked.
Overwrought again. Please accept my apologies.

(19,204 posts)Donny might not pay for it as president, but New York State has enough on he and his family to put them away for quite some time. Trump will not get away unscathed. Small comfort for all he's done to this country and it's citizens, but a whole lot better than nothing.

I recommend Cohen's book, but I don't ever tell people that I believe it's the full story.

trump got "spied" on because he was dealing with those banks, and he made corrupt transactions. In fact, one of those banks/computer servers was actually in trump tower just a few floor below trump's residence.

(22,674 posts)That says about all you need to know about this rogue league of evil running our government right now. It is a complete takeover.
The team took elaborate steps to protect its files of evidence from the risk that the Justice Department might destroy them if Mr. Trump fired them and worked to keep reporters and the public from learning what they were up to, Mr. Weissmann wrote in Where Law Ends: Inside the Mueller Investigation, which Random House will publish next week, the newspaper reported. While he speaks reverently of Mr. Mueller, he also says his bosss diffidence made him ill-suited for aspects of shepherding the politically charged investigation. He saw Mr. Mueller and his deputy, Aaron M. Zebley, as overly cautious.
Prison won't be enough for the likes of this cabal. JHC!!!

(2,640 posts)And he revealed new details for example, writing that the same business account that sent hush payments to an adult film star who alleged an extramarital affair with Mr. Trump had also received payments linked to a Russian oligarch. The president has denied the affair; his former lawyer Michael D. Cohen controlled the account. Mr. Mueller transferred the Cohen matter to prosecutors in New York, and Mr. Weissmann provided no further details about the Russian payments, the newspaper reported. Ty Cobb, a lawyer for Mr. Trump, also privately promised to be a canary in the coal mine and provide a heads up if Mr. Trump was going to fire the special counsel team, according to Mr. Weissmann. Mr. Cobb did not respond to a request for comment.
