What I'm expecting Trump to do during the Debate on Tuesday:

1. Review what he did during HRC in 2016. He'll repeat it.
2. He won't abide with time limits.
3. He won't answer the question posed. He'll give the answer to the issue he wants to discuss.
4. He'll call Joe Biden all the pejorative names he's used, plus some new ones.
5. He'll talk over Joe Biden after he's interrupted Biden's answer. Likely will shout.
6. Pound the podium and point a lot in the tradition of "J'accuse!"
7. Treat the debate like a rally.

I promise that the Debate won't be prematurely terminated by bad behavior. This is entertainment! It's like if Network were made into a TV series.

I hope Joe is ready for all of this.

Act up, that’s all I’m sure he’ll do. Play for the laughs.

(in which case he wouldn't be able to get up again without help), because a podium is a platform one stands on. He might pound the lectern if there is one. Since apparently he always has to lean on his lectern they should give him a flimsy one he can't lean on, like one of those collapsible music stands.

Although a gentleman - was taught to fight back.

I don't think the talking over is going to work this time.

He might call him 'Donald' and ask him how it felt when his brother dumped a plate of Mashed Potatoes on his head.

He cannot back down, he cannot change course, he cannot admit a mistake.

He simply cannot do it, anymore than I could strangle a puppy.

Remember?
He instead did a televised charity event to raise money for veterans and then pocketed much of the raised funds.

I have been half expecting him to pull another similar stunt.

He knows Biden has skills and intellect and the poser president can't stand being shown up. He has to top Biden somehow and won't be able to stalk him onstage or invite people who have accused him of sexual harassment to fill a visible front seating area...so I wonder what he has up his sleeve.

We shall see, but if he doesn't pull something and bombs during the first debate you can expect he will pull something to avoid or upstage the following ones.

It was easier for him to attack a woman (Secretary Clinton), he would walk behind her and try to intimidate her. It didn't work of course, but he thought it did and it kept him on his game. Let him try that with Joe, he might find out Joe isn't very sleepy . Personally I think he is terrified of Joe.

I would receive great joy if Biden repeats his performance when he debated Paul Ryan. He gave that kid quite a beating.

Worst case for Joe is they hit the red-meat-to-the -lions mix. Joe can handle that, but Donald's base will be happy

Best case, slurring incoherent zombie Donald stumbles to the podium and proceeds to soil himself on national TV. Again*.

*i have no actual knowledge to confirm this. But he sure has acted like it a few times
