Lots of mail in the wrong boxes the past week or so

3 boxes for 3 apartments, names on the labels, never been a problem before. Chicago. I got one neighbor's Trump mail a few days ago. And the others out of state tax bill yesterday.

Anyone else having issues?

1. Maybe a substitute carrier

the regular one might be on vacation or out on sick leave.

razor blades were twenty days late, same in August and then again this month. Prior to July, within 3-4 days of the company getting their money, my blades would show up within 5 days....Luckily my VA meds seem to be on time so far.....

4. I don't think we got more than maybe two pieces of mail all week

I know we got one ad. This is very unusual. I at least get a few credit card ads and my partner gets a at least one AARP thing wanting him to join. There is typically a bill or two as well. I've been afraid people are stealing it. Maybe it is a USPS thing, I don't know.

5. Nah, It's the same here in Nashville

I loath junk mail, but everything has slowed down.

I pay CC and the trash company by check every month. One of them took over 20 days to clear, which is absurd.

6. I only went to theft because...

there are a lot of shenanigans in this neighborhood. For instance, my house was broken into last year. They stole a set of car keys, and came back the next day to steal the car out of the driveway. In broad daylight. On one of the busiest streets in town. We had it rekeyed the same morning, so all they got was an earful of car alarm. The idiot ran out into the street and nearly got run over. We now have a burglar alarm and cameras outside. The cameras can't see the mailbox, tho.

7. More than likely a new or substitute carrier

Sometimes it's a lazy mailcarrier, too. When I lived in Phila, shared an address with me being nnnnA and neighbor nnnnB. The mailman was always putting things for me in their mailbox and visa versa just because he was lazy. Since I had a label inside my mailbox door with my name on it, there was no reason for my mail to be in the other mailbox.

8. I have gotten several Rx meds by mail for years.

So far there's not been one problem.

9. Just a Fed Ex package for a house a few streets over

Took it over to them. Mail has been fine.
