We Are Facing a Monumentally Important Election
So why are American citizens being told that their votes may not count?
Why are American citizens living in fear that a “pResident” cannot commit to a peaceful transfer of power?
Why are American citizens being told that the SCOTUS will decide whether the will of the people might be overturned by the will of Trump-appointed justices?
Why are American citizens being told by a lying, self-serving pussy-grabber that HE will decide when his term in office is over?
Why are the majority of American citizens being told that their opinions are of no consequence, because the “pResident” has decided that his opinion is more important than theirs?
Why are American citizens being threatened by a “pResident” who swore to protect them from our nation’s enemies – as he embraces those enemies, and does their bidding?
Why are American citizens being warned that the outcome of the November election is not in their hands, but is in the hands of corrupt GOP politicians determined to undermine a free and fair election?
Why are American citizens left wondering just how a free-and-fair election is so blatantly being rendered unfree-and-unfair by a party whose PTB require using all means necessary to cover-up their own corruption?
Why are we, as a nation, where we are today? We’ve never been here before. So why has a Trump administration, for the first time in our nation’s history, landed us in a place where the citizenry has been rendered powerless?
THIS IS NOT the America we once believed in. THIS IS NOT the America people fought and died for. THIS IS NOT the America that was once looked to as a beacon of democracy, and once led the world to admire our global leadership.
We are now just another shithole country that wonders whether our voices will ever be heard, and our collective will can ever be acknowledged.
THIS is our country on Trump – a frying pan full of broken eggs and broken promises, being proffered by self-serving cooks who don’t care how many people die of Covid-19, who don’t care how many people are rendered homeless, who don’t care how many people lose everything they’ve sacrificed to build and maintain.
I live for the day being called a Republican is a political death sentence, because it represents everything that is anti-American, and embodies everything we, as a nation, despise.
