I'm making another round of donations at 5:00

I was waiting for payday (yesterday) but I decided to wait until 5:00 today when trump makes his announcement for a candidate to RBG's seat for the Rs to rush through during an election in which voting has already started and we have a pandemic for which the Senate has been MIA in leadership.

I'm making half of my budgeted donations today and the other half during the debate. Not huge amounts, but, combined with all of the other citizens that want to save our country and are also pissed at the third illegitimate trump seat, it will make a difference. Solidarity.

Edit to add: today, I'm donating to Joni Ernst's opponent, Theresa Greenfield, and Mike Espy who is running against Theresa Hyde-Smith and then Jennifer Brunner and Michael O'Donnell for Ohio Supreme Court and Betty Sutton for the 9th District court of appeals in Ohio.

During the debate I'll donate to Biden-Harris and probably some congressional candidates.

who are you donating to?

Actblue raised over 300 million since last Friday, I anticipate spikes in donations at each further development of the republican theft in progress...

At this point I may just donate to the DSCC and DCCC on the theory that if I've heard of a candidate, they've probably gotten a lot of donations in the last week, and donating there may be more useful for coordinating national strategy...

are running against the hypocritical Rs. I almost want to make another donation to Harrison after Lindsey was begging on Fox News. Your approach is probably more logical than my passive-aggressive rage donating.

We don't really need it. I also have challenged my local FB groups for 10 bucks to Biden which I matched. I wish one of our really smart DUers would tell us where Senate donations would do most good. I have given to Gideon, Cunningham, Kelly It looks like Harrison isn't going to be short on money and Kelly doesn't need anymore. Greenfield will be one pick, Maybe Warnock.

Joyce Elliott is winning her race by 2 points against French Hill (I think)
The other is Celeste Williams who is running against Steve Womack in the 3rd district. She outraised him last month. I have hopes for both women in Arkansas and it will tilt the House even further. Joyce will be the first black woman to win in Arkansas so hers is a special race. If you want to help Arkansas please donate to either or both of them. BTW, Biden is even with trump in Arkansas!
