I really like college football but I feel like I am watching super spreader events.

This is madness. Trump really has fucked so many things that were part of our everyday
life in America it is staggering. Weddings, funerals, BBQs, going out to eat, God only knows
how many restaurants have gone belly up and or will go belly up, > 200,000 people are dead
who were alive on Jan. 1, 2020, concerts, sporting events, neighborhood picnics, travel, airplane
travel, businesses, jobs, dating, my fall white water rafting on the Gualey River in W.V., visiting
people in their homes, meat packing plants, health care, church services, farms and farm labor, and ...

Trump should lose every state and by double digits too. Don't like wearing that mask? Thank Donald
Trump.

... of the virus is madness and all the extra testing of the players is taking testing away from
God only knows how many Americans. And yes just by the very nature of football these
games will help to spread the disease to players, fans, and so many others.

I am watching the LSU v Mississippi State game and even though they have spaced out the
fans I am still seeing some people side by side with other college students in the stands
and without masks too.

In Columbus the local sports radio station has been pimping for OSU to get back into the
National Championship playoffs again as we have >7,000,000 cases of C-19.

Wait until they have to shut down SEC football and all those "good old boys" have no
football they will take it out on Trump.

Looked at what games were on and actually felt guilty and no urge to watch. College football (and hockey) are my absolute favorite sports, but I just can't watch.

I feel like I am watching kids killing themselves for our pleasure. Sure takes any fun out of watching.

myocarditis from COVID-19. Nothing about this seems like a "real" season anyway and will clearly have an "asterisk" behind every stat and result far into the future.

is almost a religion. Their game today has been postponed because of players with covid.

It's hubris to think that we can have all these college students back on campus without major outbreaks.

It has been going on for several weeks. Where are the massive infections? Has not happened. College football is an outdoor event. That is not where Covid is spread. It is spread indoors in areas of poor ventilation and large numbers of people.

How many is too many for you? How many lingering health problems after recovery is too many for you? College football's programs are too big to be in a highly-controlled bubble that the NBA has done. They're college students. Not all of them will be responsible outside of football with social distancing.

They are just a few years older than college. They are not in any "bubble". How come no one is complaining about them?
