What do you think about this

I wrote the President and said this is a federal election coming up. They want to keep those who voted last time from voting this time in 17 states. Please call in the National Guard to enforce the voting rights of the people. Ask them to guard the doors so as to allow all who voted last time be able to vote again.

Is this plausible? Is this not a crime?

We have a right to vote just as we have in the past. The states are trying to keep those who have voted for many years and new voters from the last Presidential election from being able to vote this time.

I'm probably off base but was curious as to what those at DU would think about this scenario.

1. I agree, I have been thinking the same thing. This is a civil rights issue. With the tea baggers

planning on challenging voters in minority districts I feel strongly they need the National Guard to enforce their voting rights and protect citizens voting rights. This is the civil rights issue of our generation.
