Mark Cuban, a real billionaire, did a beautiful thing today, trump has never ever done anything

for anyone other than himself that I can remember. There is no record of him being a charitable person in any way. His fake charity was a fraud. I cannot think of anything that trump did over the years that was for the good of humanity. Nothing at all. Why did anyone ever think he would be a good public servant? To run for public office, one should have already demonstrated that quality. The ability to serve the public. Not the other way around.

For those that don't follow the NBA - Delonte West has been struggling with mental illness since he left the NBA and has been homeless and living on the street. Several pictures and videos have surfaced of him obviously in a mental health crisis, looking dirty and unkempt on the streets. Its been quite sad to see his decline, and even more disturbing that people routinely film or take his picture and post it online.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban picks up Delonte West at gas station, offers to pay for rehab

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban personally picked up Delonte West at a Dallas area gas station on Monday in an attempt to help the now homeless former NBA player after more stunning photos surfaced last week.

Cuban, according to TMZ and ESPN, had been trying to get in contact with West for days after photos of him panhandling in the Dallas area surfaced last week. He finally connected with West at a gas station and reportedly took him to a local hospital.

Cuban, along with West’s family and friends, have been trying to get him to go to a drug rehabilitation facility — something Cuban has offered to pay for.

West was seen panhandling in the area last week.

West played in the league for eight seasons from 2004-2012, most notably with the Boston Celtics — who picked him up with the No. 24 overall pick. He last played for the Mavericks in 2012, but was suspended twice and eventually waived.

He averaged 9.6 points and 3.6 assists throughout his career.

West revealed midway through his career that he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, something he’s struggled with in recent years.

He truly never has done a decent, unselfish thing in his entire life to benefit anyone else, that I've heard of. Can't say that about any prior president or any of the many politicians I've known or interviewed through the years.

8. This is a huge part of the reason that Trump has never been accepted by the elite

classes of NYC society, which he has always desired to be so much a part of. He has never been a charitable donor, and that is something that is a cornerstone of their status.

He has supposedly been worth billions, but has never shelled out any money to charity (other than his own, which he and his family have stolen from). He has only given money to politicians to bribe them to make decisions in his favor. He has never donated anything out of pure philanthropic interest. If there wasn't anything in it for him, he wasn't interested.

The man is simply not concerned with any cause other than his own. He is a selfish, greedy, piggish POS who only has his only financial interests at heart. He will never give a damn about anyone but himself.

9. The NYC elite, who have real money, knew Trump wasn't really a billionaire.

They knew he was a con man, a short-fingered vulgarian.

The truly rich have enough money to throw millions at uncontroversial, image-enhancing charities, and not even feel it in the pocketbook. Trump was never that rich.

Of course, Trump would not have donated to charities even if he had the millions to spare.

11. Bipolar disorder is brutal. Add to that substance abuse and I don't envy the rehab hospital.

I had a friend, a brilliant woman and successful attorney, who suddenly fell apart in her late 30s. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She was never able to tolerate the medication and spiraled out of control, losing everything, her job, her husband, her kids, her house. She was repeatedly hospitalized, and even had electric shock therapy. Nothing helped. But she had no substance abuse issues, so sometimes, when she wasn't manic, you could talk to her and she appeared perfectly normal, and would matter-of-factly describe what was happening to her, and how powerless she was to stop it. Then, out of the blue, she would careen into a weird paranoid fantasy world. It was just heartbreaking. I eventually lost touch with her. But I fear she will end up like Delonte West ended up, if she is not there already.

God bless Marc Cuban for trying to help Delonte. I hope Delonte can tolerate the medication.

13. There is now genetic testing for the uptake markers for those medications

It is not trial and error with the various medications as perhaps in the past. Genetic testing can identify the markers an individual has for the medications, and based on that they can start with the medication for which the persons testing shows the most uptake ability. The key as always for the bipolar is to continue taking the meds, and when they miss their manic highs and feel that the medicine is making them dull, that is always a dangerous point for going off any medication and relapsing into extreme manic swings.

Glad things have improved somewhat since then. My friend could not tolerate any of the medications. Hopefully there's more to choose from now.

mayo's test is $150. and if you already did 23/me or some such, promethease.com will run that same 10 parameters for $12.
man, did i learn shit from mine. almost 20 yrs of going from doc to doc. turns out i sjogren's syndrome. usually a minor annoyance. but pregnancies and viruses aggravate it.
6 pregnancies, all the usual childhood viruses. got west nile in '02 and havent been the same since. but now i know.

has his issues, but he is infinitely a better human being than Trump. This story and his kindness here almost brings me to tears.

I hope for the best for West and his family. Delonte was a gifted player once, and whatever is happening that led him to this, he can get help for. Mental health support and rehab could do wonders for him. It sounds like he has concerned family who want the best for him. Good luck.

And no, Trump would never do something this selfless.
