We lost Helen Reddy and Mac Davis in the last day. Listening to "I Am Woman", and "In The Ghetto"

All about gender and racial equality, from 50 years ago. Does not seem that we have made much progress.

As that one protest sign reads, "I can't believe I am still having to protest this shit!". I am angry. I am frustrated. I am enraged. I am tired. But I am not giving up. I am such a nasty, persistent woman. This is OUR country, and traitor tot and his demented sycophants do NOT get to have it!

Too many losses. There just aren't enough tears. Glorfindel Sep 2020 #1
Sadly, you are absolutely correct. We are working for the days when we shed happy tears. niyad Sep 2020 #2

It was poetic that Helen left after Ruth me thinks.

Mac and Helen were both 78. They both brought sunshine into people’s lives and their exits grow the dark.

May they both be at peace.
