1. And what's funny is the far right continues to attack the 47%

Obama doesnt even have to run ads about it. Talk radio continues to insult anyone in the 47%. They come right out and call them lazy or deadbeats. And the stats show that a lot of these people in the 47% that they constantly insult are in places where Romney needs to win!

2. So, basically, he has the 1% and Limbaugh/Beckhead, Pat Robertson votes?

Nice. I like those odds.

Though I fully realize they have the potential -- and inclination -- to still buy/steal the election.

4. In swing states, yes. In the Republican heartland, they pretend he never said it.

There are still many of my neighbors who will go forward and vote for Romney, despite the fact that many of them probably draw things like food stamps, Medicaid, Medicare/Social Security, maybe even unemployment insurance.

For the record, I live in Mississippi.

I like to think Obama would destroy Romney in a whopping landslide, but I'm expecting something like a 51% to 49% victory or somewhere in that range as far as the popular vote goes.

That, more than anything, is--I believe--a testament to the power of corporate propaganda and hate radio to mislead so many voters.

There are a lot of conservative religious people who simply ignore all else and vote for the party that will claim to protect them from gays and abortion.

5. Folks might want to read this NY Times article

It gives some insight as to who Romney has turned off.

The 47% ads that Obama is now running in 7 swing states are effective, turning off blue collar white males and others to Romney.

7. My American neighbor

moved here to Canada from Iowa about 5 years ago and even though we rarely talk politics when we did he definitely had Republican views and didn't have shit all to say about Obama that was very nice. His race didn't bother him but he bought into the "taking your guns" and shit. The other day Obama came on the news and he says "There's my boy". I was like what?? what you mean? He said "did you hear what Romney said about half of the country?" I said I did. to him that was fuckin despicable and he never would have voted for Obama, but he said Romney insulted all his friends and family in the USA with that bullshit and that most of them are turned off and will not vote for Romney this time around. Obama will get their votes.

8. Romney is still going after that all important "rich, old, white guy" vote like there's no tomorrow

Mitt may have actually locked up that important segment by now.
Unfortunately for him, the rest of us are not in that group.

The debates are going to be the end of Romney because he can't talk about supporting all of the NASCAR team owners, a few that he admitted that he knows personally, and the majority of the fans of NASCAR at the same time.

11. Mittens and Mini Mitt still are talking about welfare kings and queens
Wed Sep 26, 2012, 09:39 AM
Sep 2012

and the lying welfare ads is up and running but Mittens have a new ad explaining his comment about the 47% which he looks like a defeated asshole. Mini Mitt (Lyin'Ryan) thinks he is God sent and is a way better candidate than Mitt. So there you have it, Mitt and Mini Mitt are now dueling each other.
