This SCOTUS scenario isn't good for trump

I think a good percentage of people held their nose and voted for trump for one reason only.... the SCOTUS and the Scalia vacancy and it has worked out wonders for them because not only were they able to get that vacancy, they got two more with the latter changing the balance from 5-4 to 6-3. It’s so gravy for them, they are happy now. Trump is no good to them now.

He would have been better off saying “we should let the voters decide.” For one, those same voters would then come out for him. And two, he would have actually looked good to the MSM and moderates.....I am surprised he doesn’t even realize that McConnell and crew don’t care about him now, he served his purpose.

a "saner" Republican at the helm. Down in their deep dark hearts, they want to pretend that they want what's best for the American people, when all they really want is their own personal power. And $$$.

Will they really kill the cash cow that has kept them going for decades? NRA money isn't going to rescue them now.

They'll say they need money to fight to keep the new status quo.
