What are the odds this all happened when Biden happened to be in the same room with him in the debate hall. Cynical, I know, but considering the con men involved...

Fri Oct 2, 2020, 02:13 PM
Oct 2020

and the info was about to go public would have been the cliff hanger. The tax man closing in, thousands more Americans dying weekly, his businesses under investigation, money laundering and campaign finance violations and the imminent loss by a landslide election would lead the Antagonist to find a way out that would get him off the hook.

In my novel, the Antagonist would have been nearly as impressed with the beloved RBG lying in state as he was with Macron's military parade. Denied the parade, the Antagonist would assuage his ego by setting his sites on attending, or at least watching, his own funeral. Perhaps from the safety of a Moscow luxury apartment as he eats burgers and calls the people suckers.

I have a vivid imagination but, hey...it is what it is.

First, Pence is next in line. And they haven't even done a temporary transfer of power. So why would they contact anyone?

Second, when has the wh EVER reached out to pelosi directly on any matter of significance? They bypass her until they absolutely can't.

Lastly, the gop has already signalled it will challenge pelosi being sworn in if it gets to that. The line of succession is law; it's not in the contistution itself. It would end up in scotus for sure.

So the only thig the wh would do in this case is send someone infected over to meet with her for some other reason.

Hopefully all wh staffers are on the house no-entry list.

... from the Vanity Fair article:

Meanwhile, Hicks has experienced more pronounced symptoms than the president. Two sources said she has had a high fever and a cough, with one source adding she lost her sense of smell. Hicks is said to be frustrated with Trump for taking such a cavalier approach to the virus. She was one of the few West Wing staffers to wear a mask in meetings, which her colleagues chided her for. “She was made fun of because she wore a mask,” a friend said. Sources told me Hicks is also upset that news coverage has made it appear that she gave Trump the virus, when in fact no one knows where he got it. “It’s so unfair she’s sort of being blamed,” the friend told me.

Hicks did not respond to a request for comment.

“There are so many threads to pull. No one knows where this is going to go,” a stunned former West Wing official told me.

Stunned? WTF did they think was going to happen? They'd already had several close staffers and Secret Service agents sick. Trump and everyone on his staff and in his family were defiantly going around without masks or social distancing, taunting people who took precautions, demanding reporters take off their masks--

Did they actually all think this wasn't real? That they were immune?

I hope the household staff especially and those who had no choice but to be around these careless cruel Trumps are given paid time off and bonuses and very good care.

“They were careless people, Tom and Daisy- they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.”

symptoms and course.

Is it easier to wear a mask or a ventilator? The Cult of Non-Mask Wearing was germinated by Donald Trump himself. I cannot get over that Trump went to his fund raiser in New Jersey knowing full well that he had been exposed to the virus. Trump has been terrible for America's health.

"This morning the New York Times reported that Trump is exhibiting “coldlike symptoms.”"

A cough and fever could be a sign of the onset of the disease too not just “coldlike symptoms.”

BTW I think Trump had it before he Hoax Hicks flew to and back from Cleveland.

92. Trump could be lying

Trump could be lying about the whole thing. He shows up in a day or two, says he "beat the COVID" and it is just the "Kung Flu" so no worries! Take off the masks, go back to work, it's all a hoax. I would not put it past him at all.

Every reporter needs to ask:

Is the president trying to keep Americans from panicking by saying it's a Mild case?

The ass has NO friggin cred.

If he was at all able to talk, he'd at least called in to something to give a statement. He's got to be so sick he can't even do that.

My bet is tonight or tomorrow morning he's at Walter Reed.

It is possible that DT had immuno therapy and this virus has mutated. By all rights and odds, he should have been sick already.
