Yes, it's just pure fantasy...
What if before he recovers Trump had a medical crisis and had a "Near Death Experience", and met "God" who scolds him for being such an asshole. and then he comes back, recovers, and becomes a genuinely nice person. He'd be happy, finally, and all of us would be happy, finally.

He's screwed over the judiciary for decades. He could become a "nice person" and I still want to see him in prison.

With Trump, it ain’t gonna happen. He’s perfect, you see. Just ask him, and he’ll tell you. There’s no need for him to reform his behavior.
