To Walter Reid with Coronavirus how would we be feeling. I can safely say that I would be so scared that I would be in tears. It would be terrifying. The same if the Bidens were being taken to the hospital.
Yes, Trump practically rubbed the virus up his nose and inhaled and quite frankly he asked for it. I dont feel even a tiny bit sorry for him because its squarely his fault that he is sick. But I feel no pleasure. I hope he learns something from being sick. I hope his MAGATs do too. Perhaps a little sympathy for others. I dont wish death on them. I wish some hard won wisdom through the pain and the terror of getting COVID 19 for them.
I think this is a great example of karma in action.

(9,897 posts)I feel nothing for him but enmity and loathing - and I am merely reflecting back on him what he has foisted onto my family. It is his fucking fault that I cannot visit my dying mother in person. I can NEVER get that back and I hope he and his feel a pain equal to ALL he has caused for generations to come. What has been stolen can never be returned so please Fate, make it hurt before you seal his...

(28,342 posts)but any sorrow I would have in that event would center entirely on negative consequences for Biden and/or the country. I don't care about him. I don't care if he dies. I hope he suffers.
I'm averaging 20+ hours of overtime per week taking care of those who are falling from the consequences of his homicidal/genocidal narcissism. Talking to crying spouses and children on the phone while my patients struggle to breathe has left me without a single fuck to give about that chunk of stool they're about to fly over to Walter Reed.
I'm glad he has SARS-CoV-19.

(53,410 posts)if I were directly dealing with the pandemic like you are. I have no judgement for anyones reaction. Ive been exceedingly lucky because I dont have anyone close to me sick with it or dying. I just wish I could hug you.
He deserves every miserable minute of this disease. He deserves all the long term problems it will give him.

(32,731 posts)This guy isn't capable of that.
For example, here are some traits that you'd think would make him empathize with certain groups: He is the child of an immigrant, the spouse of an immigrant, a New Yorker, and obese.
Yet he regularly attacks immigrants, regularly attacks "chain migration," and regularly attacks "anchor babies." He was OK with letting New Yorkers and other blue state victims die from COVID, and he regularly attacks the appearance of others.

(53,410 posts)I dont feel sorry for him. He deserves getting sick. In his case he is directly responsible for all of this.

(11,607 posts)I don't feel sorry for Trump but I can't wish death on him. Since (assuming he survives) he'll still be president for a few more months even if he loses the election, I hope he emerges from this more empathetic and willing to do his job now that he has experienced the virus firsthand.
