I mean. Wow.
Could there be a more perfect summation of everything that's been going on than this moment? In some ways, we knew it was inevitable. Many of us were saying how poetically justified it would be for Trump to get Covid. And here we are and yet somehow I'm still shocked. I can't quite wrap my head around the utter absurdity of it all. The perfectness of it.
Poetic justice. Karma. Irony. Whatever. This is universally, majestically, quintessentially ALL of that in wrapped up in a giant orange turd of "fuuuuuuuucckkkk, really? Holy Shit! This is REAL????"
I mean what can I say? Can it be real? Or is this a simulation? Is there a god? I have no idea, I only know the greasy, ignorant orange buffoon is going out in a fantastical, unreal blaze of glory that we all saw coming from the other side of the universe and I'm still gobsmacked with the awe and wonder of it all.

(1,160 posts)For the last four years, I've been feeling like life is a fevered dream or weird comma. I sort of worry that if that thing does croak, it'll be be the end of my dream and the end of my reality, or lack thereof.
