I had to switch to CNN after that "political diagnosis" because the read was soooooo bad. Basically just swallowing everything that was regurgitated from Walter Reed. I'm so glad I did because CNN is hitting it out of the park. I took a quick look before firing up this post and MSNBC was still sucking.

(25,278 posts)and she is not of the quality of commentators that MSNBC usually features. She's more of a weekend fill-in or sub. I usually turn her off when she is on.

(159 posts)She is beyond useless. I don't understand why she has a job. She is a bothsideser, and she never has any insight.

(10,039 posts)They didn't seem any better. I'd like to see Aymen take over weekends from Witt-less. ...even though he can be a wee-bit both-sidey.

(10,039 posts)took everything Dr. Connelly said at face value with, while I was listening, ZERO skepticism. They also missed, or ignored, the timeline "confusion". Hope that helps.

(3,635 posts)Yesterday when Biden's negative test was breaking news on ABC and CNN (and John King was hammering Trump for mocking Biden about his mask) I switched to MSNBC just to see what they were saying and unbelievably they weren't even covering it. Andrea Mitchell was just droning on about something else - they didn't even report about it until about 30min later.

(4,044 posts)Often, CNN can be redundant from one hour to the next.
But, MSNBC can be just terrible depending on the anchors. Andrea Mitchell, aka. Mrs. Greenspan, is a ratings booster for CNN.

(14,061 posts)They got the same memo everybody else did.
Alex Witt is nothing more than a well-paid newsreader and seat-filler.
Im not going to bother with that network for the rest of the day.

(1,249 posts)Their cover up just makes rumors fly and more speculation. But then we have heard nothing but lies since day 1

(16,493 posts)CNN has actual reporters in the field who break news. MSNBC is one panel show after the other with 80-year old Andrea Mitchell working the phones from her DC townhouse, phoning in a tidbit or two from the grapevine. Thats about all theyve got from a reporting standpoint. Its quite pathetic.
