Conversations w Republicans close to WH over last 12 hours indicate it’s been far more dire than WH has said. Before being taken to Walter Reed, Trump kept asking aides, “Am I going out like Stan Chera? Am I?” (Chera was Trump’s NYC friend who died of Covid in April)

I've not had it yet, but part of my anxiety disorder is magnifying every little health problem beyond what it is. So I'd probably worry myself into breathing problems.

11. Yeah, during my waking hours, I just suffered through the symptoms.

At night, I worried sick I’d wake up not being able to breathe. Had asthma as a kid. I’m in good physical shape, but I kept reading about people much younger getting seriously ill.

Longtime friend of over 30 years refused to leave my house. Stayed in my spare room and checked in on me during the night, unbeknownst to me. Good friend.

16. On day 8 of being sick, I had breathing problems.

It scared me to death. And a couple of times my heart was jumping out of my chest. Of course, I never knew if I had the virus as there were not enough tests at the time (march) and I wasn’t “sick enough” according to my teledoc visit. My illness lasted 3 weeks. The biggest factor in me not getting a test was because I only had a low grade fever.
