Spouse was asking why it aired nationally - two reasons.
1. Get national interest and some funding.
2. Get the eyes of the Alabama resident military/out of state voters who tuned into the game and may not have an idea one way or another about Doug Jones except that he's a Democrat. This is both a hit at Tuberville and a stand by Jones.
Football fans have long memories, especially in Alabama, where you just don't get married in the fall because you never know if an anniversary will conflict with The Game.
