G-7 Ally Warns Trump May Try To Appoint Ivanka Trump President

Meanwhile, America’s closest allies are entertaining wild scenarios as well. An outside White House adviser told me that a high-level government official from a G-7 country asked him if Trump would try to appoint Ivanka president instead of Mike Pence. “He’s broken every norm so far, so they think anything is possible,” the source said.

The way that Trump could appoint Ivanka Trump president would be to force Mike Pence to resign as vice president and name his daughter as his new VP.

will let it happen. There's Tom Cotton or Ted Cruz ahead of her in line.

But let's get Trump believing that he can replace Pence. I would love nothing more than have them vacate the VP spot now.

after the president nominates a replacement. If republicans controlled both houses, I'd agree with this concern.

But pelosi and the rest of the democratic majority in the house would never approve Ivanka.

...take a few moments to review how that works in the US before mouthing off.

Now, if he can steal the election again, it might be something to worry about thanks to the Republicultists' rubber stamp, but it ain't happening anytime soon.

10. Trump would nominate whomever he wants to be his vice-president.

The thing is that both houses of Congress have to vote on it and there has to be a majority in both houses for that person to become vice-president. I really don't think that the Democrats in the House would vote for anyone but would wait until January 20, 2021 for there to be a vice-president. People, even people from other countries should read the Constitution before making remarks like the person from the G-7 country.

The odds of this happening are close to zero. Mike Pence may be a bland pile of mashed potatoes, but that pile of mashed potatoes is burning to be president, so the odds that Pence would resign are exactly zero, but US allies who have seen Trump up close have no doubts that Ivanks [sic] is the child that he wants to see in the White House.

Mike Pence is worth about $1 million but "millionaire" doesn't mean what it once did. Even if Pence can't be forced, maybe he can be bribed.

That we need a leader who understands the very basics of how the US Government actually works.
