Somethings very wrong here. Gaslighting

from the doctors.

Halting answers from the docs.

Something is very fucked up, and very reality TV like.

Not making any conclusions, but these Docs are either scared of retaliation, or something else is going on.

They might might start discharge tomorrow, Monday? I thought days 7 and 8 were the critical days.

I *KNOW* he must be pitching a fit in there and they are ready to get him out of there.

I also believe, just from my own experience with pneumonia, that the nasal O2 can generally maintain that 95+% ("normal" ) level (assuming your lungs aren't completely compromised). And say you stablize at 96% with the O2 flow and then pull the nasal cannula off. Within an hour or so, if you are still sick, the O2 level will start dropping and dropping and dropping and might eventually go back down below 90%, necessitating putting that cannula back in again for another "round" of O2 to get the levels back up again.

That is what this administration does. He may be very sick, he may be not very sick. They are baiting the media to get all up in a frenzy over it, so they can 1) keep his name front and center; 2) deflect from the most recent round of shitty press for him; 3) manufacture pity that turns into votes in November.

...based on everything I've heard that Trump is still likely in pretty rough shape and will be out of commission for weeks. I doubt he is on his deathbed but any idea that he is doing great or is ready to get back to his normal, useless life by tomorrow is likely total bullshit. You don't go from having trouble breathing and heart palpations, needing to take experimental drugs and supplemental oxygen on Friday and Saturday, and by Monday are doing cartwheels out of the hospital. The guy is probably going to be in rough shape for quite awhile and the odds things could go downhill very fast are still quite high.

Sun Oct 4, 2020, 12:17 PM
Oct 2020

I wonder the same.

Here's my question(s). . .Why is someone who has been diagnosed with a deadly infectious virus (1) be allowed to wander the corridors of a hospital, (2) not quarantined to a negative pressure infection "hot room", (3) be allowed to use offices and conference rooms that share the return air with the rest of the hospital through it's HVAC, (4) not wear gowns and masks, (5) allow photo ops with photographers in the same room? I question either the validity of Trump's purported illness or the quality of care at Walter Reed Hospital.

I think the videos were made "before" he left he WH so they could use them to show how tough trump is, and how well he can handle things. This way he can continue to keep Pence from taking over the office of President. He has to be in control no matter what, and the videos are part of his need to be in total control, even if he is not.

33. 48 hours was the benchmark
Sun Oct 4, 2020, 01:24 PM

I’m taking that to mean 48 hours since admission. That was yesterday, so Monday will be roughly 48 hours. Even if he passes that, that doesn’t mean he’s recovered enough to be discharged.

There is nothing to gain by lying about any of this, and while they’re not technically violating their Hippocratic Oath, these doctors in good conscience can’t be good with having to spin a tale they all know can’t be true.

EDIT — I first heard of the 48 hours yesterday. If you count Friday, that’s up tonight. But my point still stands that no matter how you look at it, he can’t be sufficiently recovered to claim good health.
