Is there some type of HIPPA waiver for the president? How do we know if trump has given permission for others to be updated on his condition? I would totally expecting trump to deny the release of medical information.

Ive worked under HIPPA rules for the last 11 years. He has HIPAA protection. The White House though has an obligation to report his condition in some way. They have chosen lying as their way.

But is there a legal obligation to release info to anyone, even the WH?
His info is his to release or not. As we have seen with them, whatever is the norm they go directly against it.
