DO NOT GET OVER CONFIDENT!!!!

Call me any name you want! Concern troll, etc!

There are still three debates and $100 million dollars to be spent by the fucking GOP!

I would rather we be slightly worried than taking a win for granted!

But we have to be able to reasonably share, discuss and revel in good news while at the same time doing our activist best to make it all happen. Your point is well taken.....but I for one am allowing myself to feel pretty good right now, all things considered!

What GOOD does it do to worry?

Be JOYFUL!! We need to LITERALLY be the PARTY!! Wouldn't that be a lot more attractive to people who are wondering where they should land than a lot of tense, watchful, paranoia?

DO NOT rely on the good polling numbers to become complacent. I have been through too damn many presidential elections to underestimate the the Democratic Party's ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

We must be diligent in pointing out the lies the impacts of the GOP economic and social goals. We must keep an eye out and ear to the ground for Karl snake-in-the-grass Rove. Rove is very confident. Why?

My wife and I were in New Zealand about four weeks before the '08 election (right when the financial crisis hit the fan). More than one Kiwi asked us why we were so nervous about the election Obama had it in the bag. We told them we had lived through the 2000 Florida debacle and the '04 Ohio fiasco, so were taking nothing for granted.

Same thing applies to this election...

What does being tense and worried about the election do to help our odds that being confident doesn't? The better things look, the MORE I want to do! It doesn't make me complacent, it makes me EXCITED to get the word out.

We might not handwring sufficiently? We will just stay home in November because they won't need OUR vote? We will stop sending money?

What the FUCK does being 'ever vigilant' look like? Furrowed brow? Tight lips?

And what the fuck good does it do?

well, obama has such a HUGE lead that it won't matter if i don't go vote...we got it made!

how the FUCK does that sound? especially if it happens a few million time or even a few HUNDRED times where it might be close???

that is what the FUCK happens.

We all know the election isn't until November.

Don't worry, no one is going to forget to vote.

The reason we have had the so called tea party revolution is because we (not all of us) sat on our ass and did not vote. Let that be a lesson to us all. Take for instance the district I live in. Melissa Bean a 3 term Dem lost to a tea bag FREAK Joe Walsh by just 250 votes.
We all know how that has worked out.Me I'm done with complacency. I will not sit idly by and let this country be taken over by a bunch of freaks wrapped in the flag yelling about freedom and liberty. When all they want to do is privatize everything and turn us all into a bunch of peasants working for slave wages and foraging for table scraps. Reaganomics has ruined this country and I hope people are waking up to this fact. So get out and knock on doors do whatever it takes to elect Dems in your area from Governor all the way down to sewer inspector. The time is now.
