Is he receiving supplemental oxygen? Dr. Conley, "I would have to check with the nursing staff!"

https://www.rawstory.com/2020/10/internet-stunned-by-trump-doctors-trainwreck-press-conference-that-raised-greater-health-concerns/

Holy shit what a train wreck. Trump is his only patient and he has to check with the nursing staff to see if he got supplemental oxygen (which he has to order) and which would be on the chart. Does he not have time to read the chart before going out to talk to reporters?

Fair enough. But the doctor still needs to check the chart to see if it was used and why. yellowcanine Oct 2020 #10

Nurses cannot prescribe oxygen on their own, only doctors can. So if anyone knows if he is being given oxygen, the doctor should know.

"Use as needed."

Did he doctor tell me to take the medicine? He had no idea.

Same for a standing order in the chart. Just say O2's approved for use as needed; it gets used and documented or not used and not documented.

Otherwise he is not doing his job. He should not have to "check with the nurses" to see what was done. That is why there is a chart. He can't possibly know how his patient is doing if he doesn't know what happened to the oxygen levels.

They taped a little meter on my finger. I was hooked up to the machine for the whole 5 days I was in the hospital. They didn't take that meter off me until they discharged me. While I was there it recorded my BP, HR and oxygen the whole time I was there. I know this because my Dr and I went over it on my first day out when she had me stop at her office to set me up for home oxygen therapy. If they record and monitor mine in the hospital I imagine they would do the same for the Fat Ass Pig.

If they want professional liars, there are plenty of those to call upon in the White House. Next time they should send out the pros.

chart with the nurse assigned to that person. Conley's information may not have been up to the minute, but he should have been aware of what treatments his most VIP patient we being given.

Maybe this dude isn't a very conscientious doctor. He's all in for the camera, but he sure isn't very good at that either. Trump better hope the other docs on his care team are better at their job.

At another point, he indicated **he** did not order it.

Ifanyone is going to order it, it is likely one of the several pulmonologists.
