they can cover liftoff and touchdown but for God sakes? What about the Tropical Storm brewing in the Gulf or the wild fires in the west.

He isn't the only human on the planet. I for one, don't want to see his helicopter in flight. A still image would be more than enough but I don't need 24/7 coverage.

When there's a big breaking story the media tends to have tunnel vision. They've been this way for years. If you can you need to find a streaming source for international news. They might be covering more US stories than this.
