Are we finally approaching the Mad King end game? (Mild Game of Thrones spoiler)

The Mad King was going to destroy his capitol city by fire when he determined the end was near. I've anticipated a climactic moment of madness from Trump, but I've never been sure if it would be before the election or after. It looks like it might be before. So are we there yet or is the worst coming after the election?

From Game of Thrones:

The Mad King Aerys II Targaryen
"He told Rossart to detonate the wildfire caches, and ordered Jaime to kill his father and bring Aerys his head. Jaime would later suggest that Aerys, in his madness, believed that the wildfire inferno would transform him into a dragon to crush his enemies. Faced with an impossible dilemma of loyalties"

after the Allied Invasion, he told his underlings to set fire to Paris. Fortunately they didn’t obey him. Some hours later, having heard nothing, he started phoning and screaming “Brent Paris?” ( Is Paris burning?”)

Not surprising. I checked the google for that phrase and got a bunch of people named Brent. Thanks for the explanation.

Jaime, well, he had other plans.

Lets just say we could use us a Jaime Lannister right about now

That scene was iconic, and it was really when Jaime became a hero after being something of a villain for the first two seasons.

“Burn them all.” I could see Trump having that attitude after he loses.

He says he feels great, yet all he did was Tweet. No appearances or even videos.

Why is he letting Covid dominate his life?
