Yes, I know, hard to believe.

But, I did. No leftover parts. Solid. Tested. Burn in period. The works.

Put all of my books and tchotchkes on. Came back the next morning.

Everything dumped on the floor.

I wrote it off as spite.

I know that my spouse, who has been teaching from home, decided not to have his extensive bookshelf scenario in the background, for two reasons: (1) because it’s trite; and (2) because he doesn’t want students getting distracted reading all the titles on the shelves.
