I don't know if anyone mentioned this here but it happened about an half hour from me. People are now afraid to use absentee.

Report missing mail right away.
I used their web portal, when I saw a piece missing, and the mailman came back the next day and said the postmaster came down on him. It was dropped off a couple of houses over. I felt bad and will intercept him in the future before officially reporting it missing.

The state GOP is having tantrums about mail in. They suddenly are very against it while our Dem candidate for SoS if elected wants to enact automatic voter registration and wants to move to a mail in ballot statewide with no restrictions.

Some people knew they were supposed to be receiving a ballot in the mail. When it didn't show up, they called and complained. They are supposed to be getting another ballot mailed out to them.
This makes me wonder if this is part of a two-pronged attack on voting by mail: not only make ballots disappear after voters have filled them out and mailed them in, but ALSO prevent voters from receiving a ballot in time to fill it out.
