A liberal case for Donald Trump: The lesser of two evils is not at all clear in 2016
Is there one? A Trump presidency needn't be a nightmare for the left. On many issues, Clinton presidency might be

a woman might notice these same effects of her testosterone levels are elevated. Testosterone can cause feelings of increased aggression whether youre a man or a woman.

They have that shack, but figured out how to get money for bombs!

Posting something doesn't mean you agree with it. People pretending to be on the left but aren't must be exposed.

No doubt inequality had a lot to do with them picking the "outsider" in 2016, particularly in rural areas where many small towns have spent several decades boarding up Main Street. Corporate farming and corporate shopping (Walmart) have killed off many small farms and small businesses that couldn't compete with economies of scale.
In 2016 there were 17 Republican primary candidates and Republican voters ended up choosing the (dangerously unfit) "outsider" because they decided "more of the same" Washington politicians was no longer an option. They apparently figured that's how they got the shaft and it was time to "drain the swamp." Trump was their Hail Mary. No doubt that explains a lot of why Republican politicians have lost their spines and toadied up to the guy who beat 16 of them and ended up in the White House: political survival.
I remember in 2016 comparing a vote for Trump to not liking a bumpy plane ride and jumping out hoping to land on a haystack. Unfortunately they took everybody with them. And the rough landing without any haystack will end up costing many thousands of lives.

(11,949 posts)First, I thought we were done with all this new-Marxist sophism that frames everything thru economic lens.
Second, I grew up around white trash like these terrorist.
Often their siblings and parents are more successful. But their anti social attitude, laziness and substance abuse is a direct cause of their economic plight. Rather than doing the things needed to advance themselves they become wrapped in self pity and hatred. Always looking to blame others for their worthless existence. Then someone on the internet reinforces that grievance by telling who is to blame. And they spend more time obsessing about their enemies than they ever did bettering themselves.
Im not a Christian. I have no obligation to love all my fellow man. Men like these are worthless. Ive known plenty of them.

If you look at their background you learn most of them were just losers . They didn't do well in school, at work and social rejects.
And in both cases they find similar types on the internet who reinforce their sense of victimhood.

(11,949 posts)Somewhere in their late teens they lost the plot.
Every since African Americans started eclipsing some of the low income white folks they have been full of hate. They were always taught that no matter how poor they were higher on the social scale than black folks. President Obama wrecked that forever. They have been in a rage every since. At least here in the south.
can you even IMAGINE him excusing the criminal behavior of POC who live in poverty????

(82,849 posts)Which of the two major parties is looking to put more money into the pockets of working people, and which one keeps shoveling the Treasury into the overstuffed pockets of large corporations and the wealthy? So, when you talk about "economic circumstances," why are you looking solely at the end result instead of the entire process?
