We were told they were mailed last Saturday. However...there is an article in the Greensburg Tribune Review this morning that the county (which is run by republicans) , sent the list of voters electronically to a company in Cleveland. They would have 2 days to stuff the ballots in envelopes, drive from Cleveland to a post office in Pittsburgh to mail them to Westmoreland County voters.
So they lied to us that they were mailed last Saturday. We checked our status yesterday and it said our ballots are in the mail but obviously they are somewhere in limbo. This is horrifying because this area of SW, PA is full of trumphumpers and now they are messing with our ballots.

(3,496 posts)Our email notification went out earlier this week (Monday) that they were mailed. Nothing yet. Will probably run the family's ballots in to the drop box. It sure seems like they are being slow walked.

(4,483 posts)with four mail-in voters in the household. Two of them have received cards (twice) saying their ballots were on the way. Still no ballots.
We will drive our ballots to Doylestown, the county seat, and deliver them to the office of elections in person.

(15,090 posts)My ballot is in the mail according to an email I got earlier in the week. Im not worried about it because, if it doesnt turn up, I will go down to the elections office where they will get me a new one.

(31,392 posts)and still has not arrived. Ballot tracking says to expect 7-10 days.
My apartment is 5 miles from the County Board of Elections office.
If it doesn't arrive by next Thursday, which is the first day of early voting in person here in NC, I will just mask up and go vote in person.

(4,226 posts)We will also mask up and go to the polls but we are expecting armed people to be there.

(31,392 posts)There are 20 early voting locations in the county, but the one where I have voted since moving here 2 1/2 years ago is NOT on the list. It was in a downtown county office building 4 blocks from my apartment. Now I have to drive. Closest location has very little parking. I would be surprised, though, if there would be armed people there.
