It will be our last donation for this election. I will be without a job at the end of December so I need to be careful from here on in. Husband is still working which is a blessing, and I have social security and a small pension. Lots of people in worse shape than we are so I don't complain.
It has been a pleasure to support our candidates with our little bit of money. Every little bit counts right?

(94,591 posts)Absolutely no chance. Every rating group has this as SAFE R. Inhofe has 20X the money that Broyles does.
I know people want to feel virtuous by supporting candidates running against the worst of the Republicans, but it makes no rational sense when there are much more competitive races that can use the money.
Consider this: Conservative groups never waste their money trying to knock off Pelosi or Schumer or Sanders, because they know it's hopeless. They spend their money trying to pick off the marginal incumbents to win back control of the Chamber.

(5,309 posts)Hope Abby can win. I see she is trying to get old man Inhofe to debate but he will probably avoid that at all costs. Thanks for doing that.
