On 85 in Virginia (or maybe NC at that point) there's a huge billboard of Trump and Biden side-by-side with Biden against a Communist flag with the caption "Socialism." If I recall under Trump it said "Patriot." DU's whipping boy Bernie had nothing to do with it.

If Bernie stays home, he will be condemned for not rallying his supporters around Biden. He endorsed Biden in April, and for the most part he has been staying on message. The idea that he would somehow do more harm than good by campaigning for Biden just seems, well, goofy.

It’s one thing if Biden has privately asked Bernie to “stay home,” but I’d be damned curious about how such a message is suddenly trending when we are hoping for an all hands on deck blue tidal wave In November.

Trump and his enablers have tried unsuccessfully to pin the socialist/commie tag on Biden and Harris. I'd wage money this hashtag is to remind the electorate on twitter that Bernie's still out there. Along with The Squad, Bernie will influence the Biden Administration in those "evil and wicked ways' socialists and commies do.

It's just the latest spin on Red baiting. Because that's all they've got!

Fortunately, the McCarthyism schtick doesn't carry the hefty punch it once did. Too bad for the Trumpers. Tagging Joe Biden and Kamala Harris (who Trump said is more liberal than Sanders) is laughable.
