About 400 or so here - @JenniferJJacobs
Even Fox News agrees (with a little rounding up?): about 500 showed up.
2. Covid precaution flop

3. And in terms of the #HatchAct violation:
This will be a campaign speech. ... No doubt about it. This is the same kind of remark that he would be giving if he were doing this in front of a large audience at a MAGA rally.

So If Candace Owens Blexit paid for travel for all of the folks wearing the blue shirt with Blexit on the back of them, that means they are the only folks who showed up

Trump falsely claims the coronavirus is "disappearing," then suggests the situation in the US isn't that different from elsewhere, saying, "very big flareup in Canada." Canada had about 2,500 new coronavirus cases on Friday, whereas the US had more than 58,000.

(7,715 posts)I was out running errands and thankfully missed this. However, I was curious how it went.
Sounds like a massive flop. 2000 invited and "around" 400-500 show up to the White House, with travel expenses (and probably an appearance fee, too) paid.
Thanks for taking so much time to put this together!

(7,715 posts)was doing this deathly stunt, and CNN (I think Frederica Whitfield?) mentioned that ALL attendees had their expenses paid.
This was a photo op of the most contrived, disgusting, and deadly kind.

(2,315 posts)So if 2,000 known Dumpster supporters were invited (I doubt he invited the Speaker of the House, for example) and a whopping total of 400 showed up, we can assume that the same 20% of Dumpster voters will be motivated enough to go vote for him. So much for his base.
