(47,544 posts)Yes, politics and strange bed fellows. You don't need to look at them, look at our own primaries.
The flip side is that in 2016 so many Sanders supporters were so angry at the party - watched a HBO Documentary: Agents of Chaos - that many stayed home or voted for Trump. After all, both Trump and Sanders were lamenting the horrible situation of the country.

(9,337 posts)I didn't learn much. Internteresting to see their Utah HQ.
One thing I learned from listening to their pod/videocasts, is that they start the day with the Trump Campaigns early polling briefing, obtained frommultiple sources within the campaign and the WH.

(7,398 posts)I wish I could see it again. I found a trailer for tonight's show, but that is all.
They are a very powerful group! Hopefully, they never turn on the Dems at some point in the future.

(3,697 posts)This talk of them "turning against Dems" after 11/3 isn't supported by what the political environment will be for the GOP unless you believe the GOP will revert to sanity after Trump leaves the stage. I don't see that happening. The GOP will still be controlled by the far right wingers in their party for the foreseeable future. None of the LP group will go back to that.

(35,766 posts)I was surprised that there are quite a few people in the group. I thought it was just a few people, like Rick and George Conway.
It was a good segment. It was interesting to see how "morning in America" is one of their most successful and popular commercials.
