Ted Cruz just said nobody can be NOMINATED as a SCOTUS judge if the president and the Senate are held by different parties. Not confirmed, nominated. Game, given away.

The only way we will be able to fix what is broken is to have solid majorities for more than two years. Hopefully, this time Democrats will realize they have to vote in the mid-term elections. We can't take anymore of this kind of obstructionism and flouting of traditions and norms for political reasons. McConnell has made a joke of our democracy. From his perspective, "Its a democracy when I want it to be".
