Fleet of 100 vans ready to take 100,000 metro Atlanta voters to polls
ATLANTA — A fleet of 100 vans are ready to take 100,000 voters to the polls in Atlanta from now until Election Day.
The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America is rolling out the 15-passenger vans as part of their Poll-to-the-Polls campaign.
Starting Monday, the vans will be deployed through nine counties in metro Atlanta to ensure everyone who wants to vote can get to the polls for free. The campaign will run for 20 days.
Voters can request a ride by going to www.naca.com or calling 888-495-6222. Vans will be equipped with PPE, sanitizer and disinfectant.
