The site was a UK site. The response I got was, "Sorry, we can't serve this content to the country you're visiting from."
Has the orange dictator already started censoring what we are allowed to see?
(Just kidding - but I expect it is similar to what folks on North Korea or China see when they try to access sites their governments have shut them off from.)

Kinda about censorship but not at the same time. It's the reason why I cannot legally watch UK TV online here in the US (without workarounds) or vice versa. Or when someone with a Netflix Canada subscription wants to watch some content that's only available to Netflix US subscribers.

with licenses that have fixed geographic ranges - and a general website open to the public.
