Just came in from working outside about an hour ago and caught a clip on MSNBC...looked like it was in the basement of the Capital Building?
Reporters were asking questions to Meadows and he didn't want to talk through a mask, so he backed up a few feet and removed his mask, much to the displeasure of the reporters. He then stated that he was 10 feet away, but that did not satisfy the reporters, so he stormed off saying "I'm not going to talk through a mask".
Uh, why not, Mark? I talk through a mask all the time. So do surgeons. So do people who work in the trades. Is it really that big of a deal, Mark? Too hard for you to do? Unable to open your Covid piehole and enunciate words with a piece of cloth over your face? Why are you afraid of a piece of cloth? What's the problem, Mark?
I swear, we're never going to get out of this thing with people like this walking around. Repigs are like petulant children.

(8,352 posts)The press should do the same to the entire Trump crew. If you dont want to follow CDC Guidelines and try to keep people safe even thought you work in a COVID hot spot, than we really dont give two shits to listen to your bullshit.

(25,816 posts)I was a bricklayer and we had to cut blocks and bricks all the time. On big jobs we had a wet saw
but on smaller jobs it was a hand held chop saw--lots of dust. As you said, the trades use masks all the
time. Hot tar roofers, backhoe operators in the dust, painters and much more. Mark Meadows is a weak unit.
