She is nailing the turtle every step of the ways.
She took an oath six times in her life, served and served her country well. He has failed his, every step of the way..
Sweet.

(1,184 posts)Kentucky is going to Trump. Therefore, McGrath has to walk the line so that Republicans who vote for Trump will split their ballot and vote for her in the other statewide race. Saying "Trump wanted to drain the swamp, but McConnell can't get anything done" was a way of turning him into a boogeyman.
I'm not saying that I would be caught dead saying anything remotely positive about Trump, but given the factors, it's not a bad approach.

(10,107 posts)He blamed Obama for the loss of coal jobs (not true), didnt bother to defend all the bills he wint let the Senate take up, and tried to tell people that his seniority benefits Kentucky when in reality it benefits him alone. McGrath did a good job tonight.

(4,910 posts)And I don't even live in Kentucky. Mitch McConnell has to go. He is one of America's most evil leaders.
This was the first time I've heard her debate, and she is outstanding. Doesn't get rattled, and comes back with clear, logical and effective responses.
Go Amy!

(42,408 posts)We saw the last 20 minutes or so and were so impressed. Moscow Mitch had nothing but New York, Schumer, back bencher and criticizing her for mentioning her military service.
I know it's a long shot, but I think she's our best shot at removing that sh!t stain from the Senate.

(83,967 posts)He just didn't make it clear that all that money went to him and wifie.
As for coal....what a hoot. It's gone Mitch. Clean energy is the future, the dinosaurs like Mitch just don't know it yet. Can you say extinction?

(42,408 posts)He's Trumpian in his "we're going to bring back coal. The bad Obama took it away" schtick. I thought she straddled that line well. Coal ain't coming back and shouldn't. Coal miners and their families need to be helped into the future with, as McGrath said, education, infrastructure, and broadband.

(3,941 posts)Turtle is running an ad that says she is bought by the California elists and is for full term abortions. Im a lifelong Kentuckian who lives is southern Indiana for work. I actually have to work with Turtles office on a daily basis (well until they stopped answering the phone). I have followed Moscow Mitch since his first very nasty election. There is no low he wont go to.
I wish her campaign would run an ad showing the Turtle saying his main job after Obamas election was to make him a one term president. He then proceeded to deliberately block anything he could for eight years. Appointments, judgeships legislation, everything and everything. Talk about bench loading. If it werent for one deceased republican senator, we wouldnt have healthcare. So run an ad stating is this what you want for the next four years? Partisanship, obstruction, delay, hate groups, use his own words against him.
