(102,342 posts)with only one dose--unlike the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. They were using an inactivated adenovirus (common cold strain) to incorporate/deliver the antigen. Further, there would not be the cold chain issues that will arise with the mRNA vaccines.
Guess we shall see what they release in the coming days/weeks.

(21,901 posts)As I explained when this happened with AZ: This is the normal process. This doesn't mean the illness is related to the vaccine. But these things need to get investigated by an independent committee. Happens in many Phase III trials.

(21,901 posts)We are all learning about these vaccine trials while it's happening. Its interesting. I'm glad they are investigating the subject of the illness.
