7. Okay. Coming from a gerrymander state, it does make a difference in State wide elections.

Its intimidating and that’s how it suppressed votes. We have been afraid in the past to put up Obama or Hillary signs to protect our home, pets or cars.

8. I'm sorry for your fear, but gerrymandering draws districts to consolidate or dilute voting power.

That cannot be done where the entire state has the right to vote in a given race whether or not you choose to put out a yard sign. And I say that as someone who has had yard signs stolen in each of the last 4 presidential elections.

I have been face to face with the bastards.
You can say what you think but gerrymander is a form of voter suppression that affects national politics.

by favoring one party over the other in drawing Congressional districts thereby artificially increasing the number of representatives from the favored party. Still you cannot gerrymander a Senate race.

As for whether you are afraid, I was addressing this statement by you:

“ We have been afraid in the past to put up Obama or Hillary signs to protect our home, pets or cars.”

The word afraid suggested fear to me. My apologies if I was wrong.

when they gave the same weight to each state irrespective of population. They then doubled down by also weighting the Presidential election with the Electoral College.

It is an abomination that she was elected to the Senate. She is only capable of parroting Grassley.

She was supposed to be the new shiny star of the Republican Party. But as soon as she got to Washington her own colleagues figured out she was a dumbass and told her to go sit on the back bench.

House has passed 2.4 Trillion in relief. The Senate GOP is OK with 1.4 Trillion in relief, but 1 Trillion more would be "fiscally irresponsible" and reward the undeserving (much like the GOP Tax Cuts, ironically). McConnell won't let anything move forward because he thinks it helps them Nov 3rd.

Asshole Trump wants to do SOMETHING so he can lie about it, he has proposed 1.8 T IIRC. The GOP Senators got butthurt about it.

Divided Government is all crisis, all the time, 24/7/365. Ernst at least knows to point at Dems and blame them for the impasse.
