On this date in 1960 Kennedy and Nixon debated.

It was their third of the election season, but it was different than the two before it and the one after. This one was telecast from two different studios. Nixon was stationed in Los Angeles, while Kennedy was on camera in New York. Bill Shadel moderated from an entirely different studio in LA.

Do you see where this is going? This is the anniversary of the very first virtual presidential debate in history. And no one cried about it being rigged. No one took their toys and went home. They pulled it off with Telstar technology.

Do you know why Donald Trump doesn't want to participate in history's second virtual debate? Because he knows who has to play Nixon.

Nixon and his cronies tried to have the election results overturned when he lost. Also it was 1960, not 1990.
