Blood donors now checked for covid antibodies

I've donating blood for two or three years now and now they tell me that they will test for covid-19 antibodies. Now it seemed like more people donating than the last time I was there.

donate plasma, for a few months. The center where I go is busier because there are so many mobiles they can't do. Dedicated donors coming to them. I retired from there three years ago.
