Yet another person has tested positive for coronavirus after attending the White House Rose Garden super-spreader event for Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination

“This afternoon, doctors confirmed that U.S. Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia’s wife, Trish, tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus,” the U.S. Department of Labor said in a statement.

MUST have known the risk they vainly engaged in (except maybe kids, etc). No sympathy for them when they catch it.

I heard this just now on the news. I said the same thing when a doctor on MSNBC said that the rural areas are finally getting hit with Covid and that people don't take it serioisly until personally affected...like we at DU and anyone with a triple digit IQ have been saying for 7 months.

I pondered the possibility that Trump supporters would see his diagnosis as a wake up call to behave differently. Trump blew that with his "I'm immune so by extension, so are you!" routine.
