Morning Joe had Jim Oberweis on this morning

He’s running against Lauren Underwood in IL-14. He lied like trump about several things including Pelosi (adding non germane items to stimulus that he couldn’t name), Biden (“nobody likes Biden”, they’re voting against trump), and Underwood supports rioting (a very weak “I’m not sure she said that” from Mika). Of course he mentioned the “Democrat” Party.

I missed the lead in to his segment. Does anyone know why he was on?

Underwood is a black nurse who has done amazing work as a congresswoman.

4. He railed against "career politicians". LMFAO! This silver-spoon heir to

the Oberweis Dairy fortune has been running to become a career politician for over 30 years, most of it unsuccessfully! Finally ended up managing to buy a seat in the Illinois State Senate, and now he thinks he's the second coming.

At the very least, they need to provide some on-air time to Lauren Underwood, just for the opportunity to counter his stream of bullshit.

What you saw this morning was mild. His consistent political philosophy has been "I am a rich white man so of course I'm smart and I should be elected--to something---anything! I'm IMPORTANT!"

10. Interesting question. I am in Illinois and have seen very little on this race.

Jim is always running for something. He has his own money to burn so the GOP lets him.

Perhaps Morning Joe has slots available on a pay to play basis? Never really thought about that possibility before.
